U9C Bowerhill Services Wildcats with a Second-place Finish!
Submitted By Kim Bailey on Wed 02 23, 22
This past weekend, U9C had the much anticipated opportunity to play in the Brampton Cougars Friendship Festival tournament in Toronto.

The U9 team transitioned to the full-ice hockey format on January 15 and the tournament gave them the opportunity to really improve their skills. They took on the challenge with ease, finishing second overall in their division with what was truly a team effort with a significant contribution from each and every player on the team.

This was the first overnight tournament for all of these girls, who very much enjoyed the opportunity both to play their first full-ice tournament games, but also to spend time hanging out with their teammates, swimming in the hotel pool, going out for dinner, and generally causing chaos wherever they went!

A huge thank you to our coaching staff and parents for making this weekend possible. We are looking forward to see what the future brings for these girls!!
