Most years we’ve done one day where every team had their pictures taken. This year due to the circumstances we’re doing photos on different days for teams and doing the photos during one of their team practices. The idea is that we will hopefully have an extra change room and the girls would take turns going off the ice to have their photo done in one of the dressing rooms.
We are going to need a couple volunteers to help manage this for our group. Please let me know if you are able to help with this.
Due to the size of the Kittens group we have to do their team photo a little differently. The photographer will be superimposing the girls all together into a photo (rather than having them on the ice as shown in the picture attached). This is primarily due to the size of the group but I’m sure it will still look great.
The cost of the pictures is $35 per player (tax included) and for that price you will be given a digital copy of your daughter’s two pictures along with a team photo. This way parents can then choose for themselves sizes they want and how many to print etc.
We will collect cash or cheques as the girls go in for their photos, the day of the pictures. (We'll need some volunteers to help with that too)
We have a few requests:
- We ask that every girl participate in the team photo (even if they don’t want to buy individual photos).
- I’ve emailed the picture styles that we expect to be taken in case parents want to see an example of what they will get.
- Please wear your Kittens jersey that day.
- it would be great if the girls could come dressed (or mostly dressed) to the photo day as then we could get started right away with pictures and there will be less missed in the practice.
Our photographer is hoping to have pictures back to parents prior to Christmas. No guarantees but she said she will try her best.
