Information for Tier 2
Greetings Parents!
Our first
tryout is Saturday at 9 am. I'd like to post a general scope for what's
involved playing in travel hockey at the B/C level.
Development: I will be seeking extra ice time and pushing player development as my main objective for this season. I will take players out of their comfort zone to challenge them and help elevate their game.
Tournaments: We will be entered into a minimum of 3 tournaments this season. Tournaments come in around $1300 per team and hotels average $150-200 per night. Tournaments often require games on Fridays during the day.
Team Gear: Each player will be required to have the following:
Wildcats Jerseys approx. $170
Track Suits approx. $165
Pant shells approx. $60-$70+ HST
Jersey bags TBD
If you already have these items from previous years, you can use them instead of purchasing new ones.
Cost Breakdown: Full budget will be drafted and released once the team is made. Additional skates/Training TBD. Fundraising will be done to help offset the cost of tournaments and other team expenses. Fundraising is mandatory for each family.
Volunteers: I will be looking for a Trainer and 2 more bench staff for this season. We also require a Team Manager and a person in charge of Fundraising.
