Orange Zone Protocols
Submitted By Kim Bailey on Saturday, February 27, 2021
As expected, we will be moving into the Orange-Restrict Zone on Monday March 1st which means a change to the protocols that will govern our hockey activities.

Click here to download the COVID Orange Zone Protocols.  All players & families must familiarize themselves with these protocols to ensure a safe and healthy return to hockey in Woodstock!

Arena Protocols – Orange Tier Guidelines
-       25 total allowed on the ice

-       One spectator is permitted per player to be in the facility

-       Coaches are not to vocalize (yell) while on the ice (to be heard)

-       The use of the bench is permitted.  Four players per bench

-       Change rooms are now available for U13 and up.  Eight players permitted per change room

-       Kittens, U9 and U11 must come dressed to the facility.  There will be chairs available to put on skates, helmets and gloves.  Same as pre-Christmas break

-       All equipment (ie pucks, pylons etc) MUST be sprayed down after EVERY practice.  This especially applies to the shared equipment left at the arena

-       Masks are not mandatory but are recommended for coaches while on ice as an extra layer of protection.  If the coach is not wearing a mask on ice, the mask will remain on until they are about to step on the ice

-       It is recommended that the players wear a mask on ice for added layer of protection.  If a player is not wearing a mask on ice, the mask will remain on until they are about to step on the ice

-       DO NOT come to the Complex if you have symptoms OR if you or any member of your immediate household are awaiting test results

-       Masks required to enter the Facility and must remain on unless on the ice engaged in sport

-       Socially distancing with a minimum of 6 feet must be maintained when in the Facility

-       No food or drink permitted except water for players and coaches

-       Doors will open 15 minutes prior to rental and all must be out of the facility within 15 minutes of leaving the ice surface

-       Those living in Stay at home, Grey or Red regions to not visit our Facility

-       While waiting outside for the doors to open, everyone MUST always ensure a minimum of 2 meters apart and ensure masks are worn

-       When entering & exiting the facility, ensure the use of hand sanitizer is used.  There are bottles located at the doors

-       Please ENSURE you arrive to the facility at least 15 minutes before your ice time begins.  You need to allow time to be screened.  Arriving close to the start of the ice time risks having the doors locked and not being allowed in.  DO NOT bang on doors to be let in if they have been locked.
