U11 HL Skillex Wildcats Bring Home the GOLD
Submitted By Kim Bailey on Mon 02 07, 22
With an amazing display of skill and relentless effort, the U11 HL White team went 6-0 in the 31st Annual London Devilettes Tournament, outscoring the opposition by a whopping 37-9!

After a perfect 4-0 record in the round robin, which saw our 11U Wildcats defeat all four London Devilette teams entered in the tournament, these feisty young Wildcats never looked back.

Poppy Singh had two goals in the semi final leading to a 3-1 win over the Clarington Flames to pave the way to the Gold medal game.

In the Championship game Anna Rooney and Amelia Dorie both scored hat tricks in a 7-1 victory over the Mount Forest Rams and a GOLD medal finish.

Mackenzie Cornish lead the team in goals with 16 in the tournament.  Goaltender Ella Starkey was outstanding in net with a 1.50 goals against average in the tournament, making several big breakaway saves, especially in the tight semi-final match.  Congratulations to the U11 HL Skillex Wildcats!
