U11 Tier1 - Dave Medeiros
Dave is very excited to be coaching the U11 team this year. He has been assistant coach for U7 & U8 Wildcat teams and was fortunate enough to head coach the Ingersoll Express U11 REP team having an exciting and memorable experience. Skill development, learning to play as a team, having fun and building friendships are fundamental to a successful hockey season. Accountability, work ethic and a positive attitude are also at the forefront of Dave's coaching philosophy.
U13 HL - Eric Berridge
This will be Eric's second season as a Head Coach for the Wildcats as a non-parent coach, and third season total with the Wildcats. Eric brings 17 years of overall coaching experience from when his children were young, and 8 years of coaching experience in hockey schools and AA and AAA Boys hockey in the GTHL in Toronto. Eric is looking forward to to meeting all the girls and to a very enjoyable season of hockey with the U13 HL team.
U13 C - Joe Rinker
Joe has been a member of several coaching staffs within the Woodstock Wildcats organization over the past 3 years as Head Coach & Assistant Coach for both of his 2 daughter’s teams. Joe is a lifelong hockey player who has a passion for the game. He enjoys being on the ice helping develop and encouraging players to reach their potential. Joe is knowledgeable, has a great sense of humour and brings high energy and enthusiasm to every practice and game.
This year’s U13C team will be comprised of a team of 4 coaches leaning on the strength and diversity of the coaching experiences from Joe Rinker, Jeff Ponting, Justin Davis and Dan Pirrie. Together they are all excited for the fall and next hockey season to develop this group of young players further into their playing careers.
U15 C - Tammy Coates
Tammy has played competitive hockey from the time she was 7 up until 18 years old, playing both boys and girls hockey. She continues to play in a ladies league. Her children have played minor hockey for the last 9 years in Burford where she has helped on and off the ice and has enjoyed every minute of it. This will be her 1st year with the Woodstock Wildcats and is excited to coach. She hopes to pass on her passion and knowledge of the game to the team!This article has been viewed 193 times.
