The U13B-Ingersoll Pharmasave Woodstock Wildcats girls kicked some serious ice in the Capital by Capturing Gold.
The girls were in first going into the semi finals on Saturday night, only allowing 1 goal in during 3 games! They won the semis vs Cornwall Typhoons in a tight 2-1 battle. The girls then faced off the home team Gloucester-Cumberland Stars for the finals. After regulation the game was tied 1-1. The girls battled during a 5 minute 3 on 3 which ended with neither team scoring. After calming some nerves the girls came out victorious in a shootout!! The girls played so well together on and off the ice. Explored our Nation's capital and most importantly created lasting memories! Great job Wildcats!
