Silver Medals at the Brock Jr. Badgerfest
The U11 BB players had a successful tournament in St Catharines this past weekend winning 3 of their 4 games in the round robin and taking SILVER in the finals! To say these girls worked hard is an understatement! The final game pitted them against a strong team from Leamington who had yet to lose a game. The Wildcat players learned from their first game against Leamington and headed into the finals to give it their all! Strong goaltending, a solid defence and forwards who were determined to put the puck in the net, resulted in the girls shocking Leamington and showing them that they would not go down without a fight! Although the final score was 3-1, this game was a complete success and set the girls up for some intense games to come in league play against Leamington! Go Cats Go!
